We are now looking to appoint a motivated and experienced Head of Arabic, Islamic Studies & Qatar History to start in September 2021.
As the Head of Arabic, Islamic Studies & Qatar History, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department, with responsibility for developing and implementing provision, in accordance with the Ministry of Education regulations as well as monitoring and evaluating student progress and achievement.
All our classrooms are equipped with interactive smart boards and displays, and all students and teachers are furnished with an iPad upon entry.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing and supporting a team of staff to raise standards and will also be an advanced practitioner, who sets a standard that other teachers look to emulate.
Applicants should be willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision including co-curricular activities.
We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English, therefore a high standard of written and spoken English is essential, along with a detailed knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
