Primary Individual Needs Teacher - required for August 2017
Establishing and maintaining strong, caring, respectful and supportive personal relationships is key to the DBIS ethos. Our approach allows DBIS’ outstanding teachers to work in tandem with supportive and aspirational parents in focusing upon the individual. It also allows students to concentrate on the challenging task of learning, growing and developing as individuals.
Our students enjoy a broad international curriculum with British characteristics and a distinctive learning journey that begins in Early Years (age 3-5), progresses to the Primary School (age 6-11) and culminates in the Secondary School (age 12-16). Our rapidly growing school has nearly 1100 students and 185 staff situated on two very well resourced campuses.
DBIS is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic teacher to join our Individual Needs Team to support our Inclusion education programmes across the Primary School.
The school’s inclusion department provides an outstanding level of care and education for primary children who have a range of learning needs. The department’s provision includes targeted support designed to cater for students who need extra help in order make progress and an intensive English as an additional language programme designed to develop and consolidate the language proficiency.
