KS1 Primary Teacher - Speke, Liverpool

Required from Feb 2020, ongoing ideally until the end of the academic year

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are detailed below.

Vision for Education, the UK's number one supply agency, is seeking to appoint a KS1 (Key Stage 1) Teacher to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Speke. This is a full-time primary teaching role, covering a KS1 class which will commence in Feb 2020.

The role

The desired KS1 Teacher will be working in a delightful class with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in KS1 (but this is not necessarily essential). Working knowledge of the KS1 curriculum would certainly help any prospective candidates to this teaching position.

The school

This is a two-form entry school which has high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. It has a positive track record in Ofsted inspections and is looking for an ambitious and reliable teacher to join their dedicated team.  The school boasts an excellent support system for all staff and prides itself on its Safeguarding provision.  There is a keen sense of community between the school and the local area, and anyone filling the role would be expected to involve themselves in this.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Have experience working in mainstream British Schools and be able to demonstrate teaching excellence.
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.

Vision for Education is committed to Safeguarding children and young people. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that must be registered to the Update Service.
