Vision and values

HD Ningbo School's motto is: “Education Creates Character.” The school believes it is not only academic skills which are a necessity in a student's educational life, but also the cultivation of each student's individual character from an early age. Small class sizes are employed to offer what the school hopes is a more personalised level of teaching in order to help nurture this individualism.

The school aims to blend the best of international education with a Chinese curriculum to provide a comprehensive and balanced student experience. It commits itself to fostering bi-cultural and bilingual students, aspiring to prepare them for life in a world that is becoming increasingly multicultural. The aim is to provide a learning experience that combines the best of both English and Chinese education, in order to nurture well-rounded global citizens, and create a studious environment in which the cultures of the East meet the West.

HD Ningbo School cultivates an inspiring and friendly work environment not only for students but for teachers, with a professional and motivated atmosphere enabling opportunities to form engaging relationships with pupils.
