This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the pioneer team establishing a new school that opened in September 2018 in Kuala Lumpur. High demand in the Primary section means we are already looking to expand teaching provision across all levels.

King Henry VIII College, Malaysia is a fully-fledged sister school to Christ College, Brecon, one the UK’s oldest schools, founded by Henry VIII in 1541.

Like its Welsh sibling, King Henry VIII College is a co-educational boarding and day school, with students from 3 to 18 years of age. We share the values and ethos of Christ College, and make the most of our links in the UK and across the globe, ensuring we are very much a British international school.

King Henry VIII College enjoys a prominent, urban setting in the Multi-Media Super Corridor hub that is Cyberjaya - a rapidly-developing planned township, mid-way between Kuala Lumpur City Centre and KL International Airport. The curriculum at KH8 Primary is a recognisable British one, taught using a cross-curricular approach linking different curriculum subjects and providing greater opportunities to broaden students’ understanding.

Interviews will be conducted in the first instance via Skype or Facetime; where possible, face-to-face interviews will also be arranged. The successful applicant will take up post in August 2019.
