Primary School Advanced Skills Teacher

Due to school growth and increased student numbers, the Arbor School is hiring teaching staff for the coming year. The school’s Advanced Skills Teacher will work throughout the Primary and emerging Middle School, playing a key role in improving teaching and learning, delivering professional development and inspiring a researched based focus upon innovative pedagogy. 

This is an opportunity to join the team of a premium school in Dubai, operating to the National Curriculum for England and emphasising a core philosophy centered around ecoliteracy, sustainability, environmental justice in an inclusive and supportive environment. The facilities are outstanding, and include three climate controlled biodomes, learning gardens and an extensive provision for both sports and the arts.

Supported by an experienced management team, the applicants will provide vision and leadership to the learning community and support a wide range of abilities with the help of on-site scientific, linguistic and learning-support/intervention expertise.

Required Candidate profile:

• First language English speaker

• Bachelor’s degree and Qualified Teacher Status 

• An outstanding track record in teaching and learning and delivering professional development

• An appreciation for environmental sustainability and a values-based education

• A sense of humour and excellent work ethic.

Remuneration Package

All positions attract a generous remuneration package including a competitive salary, accommodation allowance, schooling for children, private medical insurance, annual airfares and end of contract gratuity as per UAE labour law.
