Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are to hold a current and up to date National pool lifeguard qualification and have experience working within a childcare setting.

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Lifeguard to work at a primary school in Peterborough. This is a full-time role to start ASAP. This position would be long term.   

The role

The successful person will hold a current and up to date National Pool lifeguard qualification. Will be a confident swimmer, be vigilant and be able to work well with a supporting TA and Teacher. The right person needs to be able to monitor the health and safety of the students both in and out of the pool and maintain safe and clean facilities, as well as ensuring all equipment is clean and working. 

The school

The school is a popular three form entry school in Peterborough with over 500 students. All students are timetabled swimming lessons throughout the day. 

Requirements

To be considered for this position you will: 

• Hold a current and up to date National Pool Lifeguard qualification 

• Have experience working in a childcare setting 

• Be a vigilant individual who always has health and safety at the forefront of their mind
