British International College of Cairo is looking to appoint exceptional primary school teachers to join our team. We welcome applications from outstanding, self-motivated and dedicated professionals.  We’re looking for passion, enthusiasm and experience, and a love for out of the box teaching!

As a qualified teacher, you will have significant experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum from Early Years to Key Stage 2.  You must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of teaching and experience of the full National Curriculum including phonics and numeracy..

You will be an excellent communicator and confident with your subject knowledge and craft, and be someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents.  You will be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom. You won’t be afraid of hard work and will be relentlessly focused on giving our students opportunities for success both in and beyond the classroom. Experience of developing innovative lessons and extracurricular activities would be an advantage.

Selection Process

Applications and further details should be made to the Principal at CV@biccairo.com  and should contain a CV and a letter of application details of two professional referees as well as a recent photograph.  Any offer of appointment will be subject to a successful medical as well as clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service (previously known as CRB).

First stage interviews will be conducted by Skype or telephone and final interviews will take place at various locations in the UK in the UK and in Cairo.

 British International College of Cairo (BICC) provides an education following the British Curriculum to students from Early Year to the conclusion of secondary education in Year 12. The campus provides modern facilities with 42 Classrooms, 8 specialised labs and 8 activity classes, designed to accommodate 717 students. Facilities include state-of-the-art geology lab, high tech computer studio lab, and manufacturing lab with 3-D printers and solid modelling software.The school provides sporting facilities for squash, rugby, swimming, hockey, football, basketball, and martial arts.
