PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW.

• Must have teaching experience as a primary school teacher in the key stage 1 or 2 classes - preferably with the British curriculum.

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Education from a reputable institution or any related discipline with a teaching certificate; if educational background is not in the field of education.

M Sc/MBA or professional certificates in education or any related discipline would be an added advantage.

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience - International experience would be an added advantage.

• Must be highly articulate in the use of the English Language in writing & speaking fluently.

• Must have a positive attitude to uphold the values of a good personality & team spirit.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

* Supporting children across the curriculum, often with a particular focus on maths, reading, and writing.

* Giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language.

* Helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials.

* Provide a warm, supportive, nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for the children and their families and to treat each child with dignity and respect and build a positive relationship with each child as an individual.

* Take account of students’ prior levels of attainment and use them to set targets for future improvements.

* Maintain good discipline by adherence to the advice given to staff in the staff handbook and elsewhere.
