The senior management team at Newhaven are looking to appoint an innovative and creative teacher. You will have a subject specialism but will also be flexible enough and take on responsibility for other subject areas depending on your strengths and the balance of the team. Primary specialists will have a class group and will teach most of their lessons to allow consistency within the classroom. The senior leadership team is determined to give our students the best opportunities possible to become successful, responsible citizens with bright futures. An inspirational, professional classroom practitioner, you will be able to create an enjoyable environment, which is conducive to learning, in order to secure the progress of all students. Most importantly, you will be motivated, ambitious and have a desire to provide a challenging curriculum.
We are particularly interested in appointing a primary specialist for our KS3 classes. Your role will be to play a key part in the delivery of the national curriculum to our students. You will be joining our vibrant, successful team of staff that maintains a culture of high expectation and achievement.

Newhaven Pupil Referral Unit is a high performing and complex alternative provision set in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
