The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and 

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

We are seeking a primary classroom teacher to join our professional teaching and learning team at St Joseph's.  The successful applicants will have appropriate qualifications and experience, effective communication skills, a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, a clear understanding of the Australian and Religion Curriculum, a commitment to the Model of Pedagogy, demonstrated ability to differentiate curriculum to cater for all learners and experience with embedding a range of ICTs in the classroom. St Joseph's School is a Catholic co-educational primary school, with an enrolment of 368 students. Founded in 1938 by the Franciscan Sisters, our school permeates the values of ‘Humility, Care, Respect’ as our motto is lived authentically. As part of the Jubilee Parish we are located only 8 kms from the CBD in the leafy suburb of Bardon.
