Interviews for the position will be held week commencing 22 March 2021. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic the format of the interview will be virtual using MS Teams.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated teachers to help shape education provision in Dumfries and Galloway. Our commitment to teachers is evident by the provision of high-quality professional learning for all. We are looking to attract and appoint highly skilled primary teacher to Cargenbridge Primary School for 14 hours per week. This position is temporary for session 2021/2022.

This position may be suitable for a secondment and approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for the position.

This post forms part of Dumfries Learning Town schools and/or the Bridge to deliver courses as part of the BGE and /or senior phase curriculum as appropriate to meet the needs of our learners.

Applications are welcome from current probationers pending attaining Full Registration with the GTCS in July 2021.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
