Salary: £27,498 - £41,412

Interviews for the position will be held week commencing 22 March 2021. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic the format of the interview will be virtual using MS Teams.

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated teachers to help shape education provision in Dumfries and Galloway. We are looking to attract and appoint highly skilled primary teacher to Castle Douglas Primary School for the undernoted positions.

Post 1 – 1.0fte Temporary up to one year

Post 2 – 0.4fte Temporary up to one year

These positions may be suitable for a secondment and approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for the position.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
