Job overview
Due to a family issue of one of our new EAL colleagues and their subsequent need to remain at home, we are seeking an additional qualified Primary EAL teacher to join one of our schools to help us build our new EAL programme. Suitable candidates may also be considered for Head of Department.
The successful candidates must:
-Have experience as a primary school teacher.
-Hold a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in primary education (i.e. PGCE/GTP), with Qualified Teacher Status and some degree of formal EAL training and/or experience.
-Have the ability to use IT to support teaching and learning.
Please note, that due to regulations, we can only consider applicants who have formal qualifications in primary teaching, or who hold QTS or are just finishing their training (with regard the latter, we are a BSO school and can help an NQT to qualify for Qualified Teacher Status).
