Focus School Caledonia - Ochil Campus is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and outstanding Primary Teacher to join their small and friendly team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for inspiring and motivating our P3-P6 students to achieve at the highest levels whilst supporting the development of all learners. 

This position would suit a conscientious and hard-working individual who is passionate about education, pays meticulous attention to detail, is a strong team player and who wishes to maintain our learning environment to the highest standard. Our goal is to become a leading-edge school in every aspect.

Key Responsibilities:

• To have an up to date knowledge and understanding of the professional duties of teachers and the statutory framework within which you work.

• Creating a climate for learning that is conducive for excellent practice

• Identifying clear teaching and learning objectives 

• Differentiating to provide support for students with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) and challenge for those who are gifted and talented

• Using a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge students, and ensure high levels of interest

• Developing approaches to Self-Directed Learning and use technology to support learning

• Using a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge students, and ensure high levels of interest

• Produce reports for parents in line with the school calendar

• Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work

• Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and set an outstanding example to stakeholders through personal and professional conduct
