We are looking to recruit and dynamic and forward thinking Primary Teacher to join our School. This role requires excellent communication skills, high levels of self-motivation and the necessary drive and commitment to support our young people to achieve. Clay Hill School is an independent specialist day school for young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) and associated complex needs. We provide education for young people aged 5 to 19 years.

Residential placements are available on either a weekly, termly, or 52 week basis at our two on-site children’s homes.

 We provide a warm and welcoming yet structured environment, which encourages children and young people to develop the social, educational and practical skills they require to enjoy and achieve.

Clay Hill School provides a wholly integrated and highly effective provision providing small group education, individualised therapy, and a carefully and creatively constructed curriculum which develops a love of learning and gives our young people the best possible outcomes.

 A calm, purposeful and caring environment is provided, which combined with high staff to pupil ratios, ensures that every pupil at Clay Hill School has the opportunity to develop their ability, share new experiences and reach their full potential in a secure and safe environment.

Staff development is a core element of our provision. We actively encourage applications from staff with all levels of experience, including NQTs as our in house staff development and CPD support aims to ensure that every member of staff has the opportunity to develop and progress.
