Job overview

Are you an inspirational teacher looking to make a difference?

NIS Jakarta is seeking outstanding teachers to help shape the future as we embark on a new era of growth and development. We’re looking for the right blend of energy and experience, and a passion for teaching that embraces change and innovation. If you are ambitious and seek challenge, we welcome you to join us in making NIS one of the first-choice international schools in Indonesia.

We are looking for a primary class teacher (EYFS, KS1 or KS2) and a primary teacher with the ability to teach primary PE. As a qualified teacher you will be a fluent English speaker, familiar with the UK curriculum and confident working with students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. You will be an excellent communicator and confident with technology; someone who gets on well with colleagues, students and parents. Amongst other things, you’ll be well organised, have a good sense of humour and will want to participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life as well as the classroom.

Currently a small school poised for rapid growth and development, NIS Jakarta has recently joined the Nord Anglia Education family of premium international schools. This means you’ll be joining an international team in which thoughts and ideas are shared around the globe as we strive to make our schools the very best in the world. You will have the security and opportunities that come from being part of a high quality global organisation dedicated to education and professional development.

In return for your passion to deliver the highest quality education you will enjoy a competitive salary, accommodation allowance, annual flight allowance, and international health insurance. You’ll have the opportunity to live and work in one of Asia’s most vibrant cities.

Here at NIS Jakarta, we are a close-knit team who are proud of our school and community. We educate young people of more than 30 nationalities, preparing them for futures as global citizens in the years ahead. If you’d like to be a part of our on-going success, please get in touch; we’d love to hear from you.
