The Bilingual British School of Bergamo is a family-owned private school founded in 2011. The school delivers high quality education, providing a range of qualifications in both English and Italian. Since 2023, and the opening of our high school, the school now caters for children between the ages of 6 months and 18 years and is set over two picturesque campuses.
We are currently recruiting English mother tongue primary teachers to teach across a variety of subjects in our Primary dual language programme (English/Italian). Our tailor made curriculum combines the Cambridge International Programme along with the Italian National Curriculum Guidelines.
We are looking for a class teacher for August 2025 who:
adopts a child centred attitude to learning.
is committed to delivering high quality teaching and learning.
can inspire and motivate children to become successful learners.
is interested in contributing to the continuing development of the school.
is able to work well as part of a team.
is motivated to work in a friendly and growing school with a multilingual environment, set in a beautiful location.

All candidates should hold a recognised teaching qualification (CELTA, DELTA and TEFL qualifications are not suitable for this position). Relevant experience in class is desirable.
The right to live and work in Italy would be advantageous however should the successful applicant not hold a visa they will be supported in completing all necessary administrative tasks relating to working in Italy, residency and healthcare.
