We have a fantastic opportunity at our Maidstone Campus for an experienced and interactive KS2 Primary Teacher on a part time, permanent basis. You will be adept at coaching our students to see and lead through challenges in their learning, so they make the best possible progress in each and every lesson.

 

Key responsibilities:

·        To ensure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and the highest standards of care, learning and achievement for pupils

·        To work alongside teaching colleagues, under the direction of the KS2 Lead and Campus Principal, as a lead mentor and coach, ensuring the best possible progress for all children

·        Work to achieve the general and particular aims of the school, expressed in the school Mission Statement and the School Improvement Plan

·        To plan effectively to ensure pupils have the opportunity to meet their potential, notwithstanding differences of race and gender, and taking account of the needs of pupils who are under achieving or are very able

·        To plan effectively to meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and in collaboration with the SENCo, prepare, implement, monitor and review Individual Educational Plans

·        To assess, record and monitor pupils progress in line with the National Framework profile and to report to parents

·        To use teaching strategies to keep pupils engaged through effective questioning, lively presentation and good use of resources

·        To set high expectations for pupil behaviour, establishing and maintaining a good standard of discipline based on mutual respect and personal responsibility.

 

You will:

·        Have knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment framework for KS2

·        Experience of teaching students in KS2 and supporting students with SEND

·        Have Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) and PGCSE in Primary Education

·        Have good communication skills, written and verbal

·        Be educated to at least GCSE A*-C in English and Maths, Level 3 qualified and have a degree

·        Set a example of positive personal integrity and professionalism, with positive, appropriate and effective communications and relationships at all levels

·        Ensure high standards are maintained, progressed and promoted in all areas of work

·        To undertake professional development and positively participate in the appraisals of own performance

·        Uphold and promulgate the OSG ethos within all areas of responsibility

About OneSchool Global UK Maidstone Campus

OneSchool Global UK Maidstone Campus (formerly Focus School Linton Park Campus) is an independent, all-through, co-educational, non-selective school for children aged 7-18. It has a strong Christian ethos and there are 195 pupils on its roll. Linton Park is situated in Maidstone, Kent. The school was established on its current site in 2008 in purpose-built accommodation, which has been further developed since including a new state-of-the-art Learning Centre for Primary students.
