We are one of the highest Ofsted rated schools in the whole of Hull, and our children have historically performed in the top 10% of all schools in the country, thanks to the hard work and dedication of a talented and passionate teaching staff.

With 210 pupils aged between 3 and 11 housed in our academy, Craven is a friendly and vibrant place that serves the community of the Drypool ward, but many children from further afield attend because of our excellent reputation.  We are a popular choice of school for the community, and each year our reception is heavily oversubscribed. We pride ourselves on the high levels of academic standards that our children reach, but also the responsible young citizens they develop into during their time with us.

We have an exciting opportunity and are looking for an outstanding, committed and motivated individual to contribute to the development of teaching and learning and curriculum in our academy. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and proven classroom practitioner who can display a real passion for developing and inspiring the pupils in their care."
