Tes is currently supporting a small, privately run British School located in the beautiful city of Paris, who are looking to appoint a year 1 teacher to join the team in December 2021.
With 40 years of experience in the field of bilingual education, the school has developed a broad, lively and intellectually stimulating dual curriculum which draws on the strengths and richness of the French and British traditions. The school welcomes children aged 2 to 11 from all nationalities, already speaking French and/or English as well as those who wish to acquire these two languages.
Their aim is to educate truly bilingual children in a happy, caring and culturally vibrant environment. Bilingual children are brighter, more focused and better able to multi-task and confidently adapt to a variety of surroundings.
*Important: This role involves 17,5 hours of teaching hours per week (2,5 days a week). The rest of the week is taught in French with a French Teacher.
The successful candidate will have:
•An internationally recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE-QTS
•At least 2 years of Primary teaching experience
• British or IB Curriculum experience
• A relevant Education Degree or a related subject
• A love and passion for education
In exchange, the school will provide:
• 1,300 - 1,400 gross salary per month (euros)
• Permanent contract
