The British International School Moscow invites applications from talented teachers to join our established team. Our staff currently delivers a first class education programme through the English National Curriculum (3 - 18 years) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma and A Level to students from 65 nationalities located in seven sites across the city. The Northern Infant School caters for children between the ages of 3 and 7.
Our campus is situated adjacent to the expansive parklands of Voikovskaya but still easily accessible from Leningradksi Prospekt and Schosse. School 1's facilities include a large outdoor playground, a well-stocked library, computer suite with touch-screen smartboard as well as an indoor hall with musical instruments for young children.
Our teachers are committed to providing a nurturing, caring and challenging environment within the school setting. With a structured learning environment, we work to cultivate the academic, creative, physical, moral and social areas of experience for the benefit of all our pupils.
Our school employs a comprehensive programme that incorporates all subjects according to the English Curriculum Foundation Stage (Nursery/Reception classes) and Key Stage One (Years 1 & 2). Throughout the school year, qualified ESL teachers assist the classroom teacher with delivery of the curriculum to non-native English speakers.
The school also has a Russian language programme that begins at Year 1 and is taught by Russian teachers on three levels that accommodate for native and non-native Russian students. During the year, we celebrate our diversity in the form of many cultural events, including Harvest Festival, International Day, Diwali, Chinese New Year and Maslenitsa (Russian Spring).
