St Joseph's Catholic School, Mount Isa is a co-educational school offering Prep to Year 6. Established in 1932 by the Sisters of St Joseph, today the school is a vibrant, multicultural learning community renowned as one of Mount Isa's finest schools for academic, sporting and cultural excellence. St Joseph's Catholic School has a state of the art library and an indoor sport and performing arts building. We provide students with specialist teaching in Music, Drama, Instrumental Music, Physical Education, Science, Environmental Education and Cultural Studies. Our Indigenous Education Department works with students, families and the community to establish partnerships for successful learning.

About the role

St Joseph's Catholic School, Mount Isa is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to teach Music & Arts plus general teaching . This role is a Full Time, Fixed Term Contract position for the duration of the 2023 teaching year.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other

• Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
• Current Driver’s Licence
• Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
