Sutherland House School is a non-maintained special school for autistic children and young people aged 3-19 rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. We are based in a new building with excellent facilities located in the heart of the Creative Quarter in the City Centre.

Creating personalised learning opportunities with a vision for “Ensuring Individual, Independent Success for All Our Students” we offer small Class groups, favourable staffing levels and excellent opportunities for training and professional development.

As part of a supportive staff team, you will have a passion for raising the life chances for autistic students and their families; a commitment to planning, delivering and assessing engaging, differentiated lessons and engaging with a wide range of professionals to ensure all students are reaching their full potential.

Previous experience with ASC, SpLD, PMLD, SEMH or teaching in an additional needs environment at any age is essential but full training and support will be given.
