Tes is supporting the appointment of a Primary Teacher at a Special Needs school in Nottinghamshire.
The school are looking for an inspiring and innovative Primary Teacher to join their outstanding team. As a Primary Teacher, this is a truly unique and exciting opportunity to help shape the school and help create a truly exceptional learning environment, to support and develop their pupils. They are seeking a Primary Teacher with an understanding of SEMH and ASD, allowing the successful candidate to immediately form positive relationships and adapt to the needs of the pupils.
About the role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering across all subjects as required. Differentiation and individualised learning strategies are vital skills required to meet the needs of all their pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives.
You will be tasked with creating exciting and inventive curriculums, aiming to utilise all of their resources and looking far beyond the confines of a classroom. This truly is an amazing opportunity to develop subjects with learning and engagement at the core of everything they do. With access to high quality facilities, the only restriction is imagination.
The ideal candidate will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encourage our young people to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.
Educated to degree level and/or of Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.
