At a very exciting time for Serlby Park Academy, we are looking to appoint 2 Primary Teachers (one permanent and one temporary) to start from 1st January 2107.
The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, conscientious, talented and caring. You must have a professional approach to work, joining our committed staff at our well established active Academy. The successful candidates will help support our inclusive vision and help us to achieve the next level of success.
The successful candidates will:
- be excellent practitioners
- have the knowledge and experience to teach Key Stage 1 & 2
- be enthusiastic, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, personal development and well-being are achieved.
This post would suit either newly qualified or more experienced teachers.
Visits to the Academy are warmly welcomed by appointment.

Serlby Park Academy is a 3-16 all through school located in Bircotes and Harworth, a small village within easy access of the A1. Children aged 3 – 16 learn together in one purpose built building with brand new facilities. At Serlby Park, we believe firmly in providing our young people with the best experiences, the best outcomes and the best opportunities. As an all through academy, Serlby Park Academy provides an exciting opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding across both the primary and secondary phases. While our staff specialise in teaching in one phase, the opportunity to work together cross phase to develop and deliver an innovative and cohesive education from when they join the academy aged 3, is something we are passionate about. We feel strongly that our setting can provide our students with the best outcomes, opportunities and experiences. We serve the villages of Harworth and Bircotes as well as some of the surrounding villages and our academy has a diverse catchment and strong community feel. We are very proud of the achievements of our students at all phases.
