Primary Teacher

3 x 35 Hours Per Week

Kear Campus provides a continuum of support across South Lanarkshire Council for pupils who have social, emotional and behavioural needs. Within Primary, three area bases offer enhanced and intensive support to pupils on shared placements with mainstream schools. Duties include class teaching, flexibility teaching and outreach teaching. All teachers are appointed to Kear Campus (Primary) and are available to undertake all teaching duties across the provision as required to meet service need.

Kear Campus School in Blantyre caters for secondary pupils and acts as a hub for the whole provision. The school provides education for secondary aged children with social, emotional and behavioural needs on full time placements. There are four secondary support bases located at Cathkin High, Hamilton Grammar, Lesmahagow High and St Andrew's and St Bride's High.

Kear Campus has benefited from South Lanarkshire Council’s schools modernisation programme which has created high quality additional support needs and primary and secondary provision in South Lanarkshire - fit for the twenty first century.
