Tes is supporting the appointment of a creative, active and open-minded Primary Class Teacher to join a family feel team at a school based in Staffordshire.
You must have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring even the most challenging of minds and behaviours. They are looking for candidates, who want to get involved, have their ideas heard and who are resilient and caring.
Ideally, you will be a creative thinker and be able to turn the subjects you teach into fun and engaging ones. Previous experience or a professional interest in SEMH and Autism would be preferred, however, if you would still feel confident you are right for the role, please research Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and Autism to understand the challenges it presents.
About the School
The school is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 7 to 18, catering for children with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs. Their dedicated team, work together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
The established staff team come from a variety of backgrounds and have individual skills, which can be utilised, within this school. They have a multidisciplinary team including clinicians who you will be able to learn off and collaborate with in order to achieve the best outcomes possible for their children.
