Brockworth Primary Academy caters for children from ages 4 – 11. There are approximately 280 children on our register in Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
We have large spacious classrooms, an ICT suite, iPads in every class, an academy library, excellent resources for the curriculum and attractive grounds, which include a pond, nature area and plenty of space for sports. We have many active sports teams including football, rugby and netball.

We are looking to appoint two experienced, Qualified Teaching Assistants to support a boy in Year 4 who has an Education Health Care Plan (mainly for social, emotional and mental health needs but also with communication, interaction and some cognition and learning difficulties).
We require Teaching Assistants with experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The role will involve supporting on a 1:1 basis, within small groups and in whole class situations.
The ability to form a safe, secure and supportive relationship with clear boundaries with the child whilst showing patience and understanding will be an essential requirement of the successful candidate.
You will work under the direction and guidance of the Principal, Inclusion Manager and Class Teacher to assist in the educational and social development of these children.
The successful candidate will have a relevant Level 3 qualification; working hours will be in the morning for 5 days a week.

These positions are on fixed term contracts and are linked to the child’s needs which are assessed annually. The successful candidates will be required to commence as soon as possible.
