We are also the first High Performance Learning accredited school in the world. We recently opened our brand-new pioneering, 90,000m² state-of-the-art campus. It is an exceptionally exciting time for the school, as the year also marks its 40th year anniversary.

The opportunity

We are now looking to make a number of appointments to our Teaching Assistants team to start in the new academic year.

The primary purpose of the Teaching Assistant is to work under the guidance of teaching and senior staff and to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups in and out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management and preparation of resources. The primary focus will be to support students in accessing the curriculum and assisting them to undertake and complete tasks.

We are a multi-cultural organisation that embraces diversity and provides a friendly and informal work environment.

This is a non-sponsored position and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered. The position will be based at our Al Wajba Campus.

About you

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with Primary children, will be highly organised with good communication skills and will be good at motivating students to learn. Some experience of working in a similar role is desirable.

We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English, therefore a high standard of written and spoken English is essential for all positions.
