The St Alban Catholic Academies Trust is pleased to invite applications to the position of Primary Trust Leader of Education. These new positions present exciting opportunities for staff seeking to influence school improvement, have a passion for CPD and are committed to schools working together in partnership.

We are looking for Trust Leaders in the following areas:

• Catholic Religious Education
• Reading
• Writing
• Maths

If you have skills in one or more of these areas you may well be the right person to support us as we drive improvement across our schools from a position of great strength. Our Trust is built on the principles of family, we are close enough to work together and small enough to care about the progress of all schools and individuals within our Trust. You will work with the support and encouragement of Headteachers and the CEO committed to seeing staff flourish.

The successful candidate will: 

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner
• Be able to display leadership skills that encourage staff to be creative and develop rich and exciting lessons.
• Understanding the distinctive nature and Ethos of a Catholic school
• Be an ambitious leader with a clear vision of what an outstanding RE department will look like and will have the talent to deliver on this vision.

Within the supporting statement of your application, you should draw on your teaching experience and your experience of working with others, outlining the impact of your work. You should also outline ways in which you think a Trust Leader of Education could drive improvement across our family of schools.

Interview Date: Week beginning 21 May 2018
