We are seeking to appoint a Principal Adviser to support the SEN and Engagement Service Manager in improving outcomes for children with special educational needs, with specific regard to those children and young people on SEN Support.
The successful candidate will be required to ensure there is suitable challenge and support to schools and settings, to ensure high quality results for children and young people with special educational needs.
You will manage the Education Development Advisers and the associated teams to provide generic and targeted support to pupils, families and SENCOs, schools and settings to impact positively on outcomes.
We are looking for a senior leader who has the ability to motivate, inspire and enthuse practitioners to overcome barriers for children and young people. You will be required to provide senior leadership support within the SEN team to motivate and support colleagues.
Close liaison with the Education Improvement Service will be required, to provide support with challenge to schools and settings around the issue of school improvement, so the ability to forge constructive relationships to affect change is essential.
