Applications are invited from dynamic, outstanding and experienced Head teachers or senior educational leaders to take the Academy on its next stage of development. The successful candidate, who will have experience of working with a school under challenging circumstances, will build on the excellent work carried out by the Acting Principal over the past 12 months, ably assisted by a pro-active leadership team, an experienced governing body, and the support of the Diocesan network.

The Diocese of St Albans, as Lead Sponsor, and the University of Bedfordshire, currently Co-Sponsor, wish to appoint a new Principal to this Church of England Academy that opened in September 2009 and moved into new buildings in 2012.

During the next 12 months, it is proposed that the Academy will join the Diocese of St Albans Multi-Academy Trust, which is currently being established following approval from the Regional Schools Commissioner.
