Be part of an exciting, amazing new Free School in Rugby for children and young people with autism and social, emotional and mental health needs.
About Us
In September 2017, MacIntyre Academies Trust will be opening a new and exciting Free School in Rugby, Warwickshire for 80 children and young people with Autism and social, emotional and mental health needs aged between 9 years and 19 years.
In September 2015, MacIntyre Academies Trust opened a new and exciting Academy in Nuneaton, Warwickshire called ‘Discovery’. Due to high demand for this type of school MacIntyre Academy Trust made a successful application to open a sister Free School in Rugby. We anticipate that half of the students at Discovery Academy will move to this new Free School along with many new students. Both academies will increase their pupil numbers so that three years from opening they will support 80 young people.
MacIntyre Academies Trust is delighted to have been chosen to set up this new Free School which will join the existing ‘Endeavour Academy’ in Oxford. MacIntyre Academies is sponsored by MacIntyre Charity which over the last 45 years has developed a strong reputation nationally, as a high quality, person centred organisation.
