Job overview

We are looking for a new Principal for Lea Valley Academy to take up post either in September 2018 or January 2019. Lea Valley Academy is the founder school in the Cedars Learning Trust and ideally the new Principal will already have headship experience and the ambition to take over the leadership of the MAT in time.

Our students’ success is what underpins our values of Aspiration, Innovation and Respect. The key for us is to open new horizons and share possibilities to enable each young person to plan a positive, creative and ultimately successful future life. Our results have been on an upward trajectory over the last five years. Ofsted has repeatedly judged us to be good. The Inclusion Quality Mark have awarded us their prestigious Flagship status.

As a school we refuse to stand still. Our next Principal will strive to move us onto the next level, through their ambition, integrity and relentless belief in our community of staff and students and their families. We hope you will be that person.

Closing Date:  Friday 20th April 2018 at 9.00am.

Interview Dates: Wednesday 25th April and Friday 27th April 2018.

Candidates who wish to visit the school should attend on Tuesday 17th April at 10am.
