Coombe Girls’ School and Sixth Form is a comprehensive girls’ state secondary school, with a co-educational Sixth Form. We are looking to appoint a calm, caring and well organised person to work in our medical room as the Principal First Aider. A first aid qualification and experience of working in a school would be desirable but not essential. The successful candidate would need to be prepared to go on a 3 day First Aid at Work Course.
The purpose of the post is:
- To provide day to day supervision of first aid to students and staff
- To manage the administration of student medication
- To manage the administration of the school immunisations in liaison with local healthcare professionals
- To understand and promote the ethos and success of the school
- To be part of the School Office Administrative Team

Our ideal candidate will:
- Be able to work effectively and constructively as a member of a team.
- Be well organised and efficient, demonstrating an ability to use their initiative and work unsupervised.
- Have the ability to work in a busy environment, be able to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
- Good ICT skills
- The ability and willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
