As Principal, we will look to you to provide professional leadership and management of the School that will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of our work. Whether that is effectively manage teaching and learning, promoting excellence, equality and high expectations for all pupils and staff or providing a clear vision and strategic direction, one thing’s for sure – you won’t be short of challenges.

From evaluating the school’s performance and identify priorities for continuous improvement to deploying resources to achieve its aims, you will be instrumental in making things happen, every step of the way. In addition, when it comes to strengthening our parental engagement, securing the commitment of the wider community or working effectively with Trust colleagues, again, we will count on you to deliver.

To apply, you will need evidence of regular, recent and appropriate professional development for the role of Principal, and experience of having created, driven, and delivered change programmes through effective leadership.  As well as outstanding teaching skills, you will have the enthusiasm, energy and vision to successfully lead a high-calibre team working in a high-achieving academy. You also have what it takes to develop strategies that encourage parents/carers to support their children’s learning. In short, you are ready to take the next step in your successful career to date.
