Dixons Academies Charitable TrustLiverpool

An exciting opportunity to work for an exceptional multi-academy trust

2nd highest performing Trust in the country for secondary Progress 8

Now expanding along the M62 to Liverpool and Manchester

Values driven and highly rewarding place of work

Having doubled in size over the past five years, we have exciting plans to double again, adding hubs in Liverpool and Manchester.  In collaboration with the existing Governing Body, we are seeking to appoint a Headteacher of Fazakerley High School from Easter 2021, to become Principal of the Academy when the school joins our Trust a few months later.

You will be well supported by our Executive Team and Teaching Institute to transform the life chances of Fazakerley’s students.

The Dixons Academies Trust is currently a family of 12 schools in Bradford and Leeds: 3 primaries, 6 secondaries, 2 all-through and one standalone sixth form.  We are committed to making a difference where it matters most.

Why choose Dixons Academies Trust?

  • Values driven
  • 30 years of challenging educational and social disadvantage
  • Ambitious for every child and highly inclusive
  • Always in the top 4 nationally for progress at secondary
  • Exceptional colleagues will support you to be your best
  • Low staff turnover

We establish high-performing non-faith academies which maximise attainment, value diversity, develop character and build cultural capital.  By the age of 18 we want every student to have the choice of university or a high-quality apprenticeship.
