Contract term: Fixed Term (Minimum 2 Years renewable)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Principal with proven leadership in education for a vacancy in our School.

Requirements:

(a) Must have a minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree with professional teaching qualification.
(b) Overall experience of 10 years in teaching and at least 5 years of school management experience as a Principal.
(c) Is an excellent communicator that can inspire, motivate and support staff
(d) Experience in IGCSE syllabus and Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) would be preferred.

Main Responsibilities:

(a) Provide academic and administrative leadership and oversight for all matters pertaining to the operations and smooth functioning of the Nilai International School, to ensure the quality of its student experience, teaching and academic standards and financial viability.
(b) To manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear procedures for the operation and smooth functioning of Nilai International School consistent with the philosophy, mission, values and goals of Nilai International School.
(c) Overseeing all matters relating to programme and curriculum development, pedagogy, service delivery and administration thereof.
(d) To exercise general superintendence and leadership over the staff of Nilai International School, to ensure proper implementation of Nilai International School policies and performance of Nilai International School’s functions.
(e) Oversee the planning of the financial budget for the approval of the Board of Directors and to manage the implementation of the budget for the institution.
(f) To be responsible for maintaining the necessary quality standards and relevance of all academic programmes offered by Nilai International School, including ensuring that these programmes meet requirements of the Ministry of Education, the Board of Governors and/or other bodies, as may be applicable.
