Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a successful school. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement effective strategies, raise standards and continue to improve pupil attainment and progress.

We are looking for a highly motivated, inspiring leader with a purposeful vision to build on the successes of our school. It is a rewarding place for both adults and children to learn, grow and develop.

Our school has well behaved and motivated children. Set in beautiful grounds, it is well resourced and has its own specialist resource base for children with communication and language disorders in key stage one.  Charles Warren is a good school with 199 children on roll, it serves a diverse community and our parents have high expectations.

If you are a successful, experienced leader with a proven track record looking for your next step or an existing Headteacher ready for a new challenge we would be delighted to hear from you. We warmly encourage you to visit our school so that you can experience for yourself the positive learning atmosphere that our pupils and staff excel within.

Charles Warren Academy is part of a national network of schools at AET,  brought together by the belief that each and every child has an entitlement to an excellent education in every classroom, every day.  An excellent education transforms lives and every pupil who attends one of our schools should be given the support, care, and opportunity they need to flourish. We leverage our scale to support all our teachers, leaders, and young people to be the best they can be.

You will be joining one of the largest and most inclusive trusts in the country. We have a flourishing group of primary schools within our network, supported by our Regional Education Directors. This headship is an opportunity to take on the leadership of a school with high levels of potential, with the support of a network of expert peers and within a trust that really values and celebrates their primary school provision.

If you are excited by this role and believe you have the values, vision, and expertise to lead the academy to sustainable excellence, then we want to hear from you.
