Job overview

We are looking for an experienced senior leader who is excited for the opportunity to shape the vision of an established school.

After opening our doors in rural North Oxfordshire in 2013, Heyford Park Free School is now in its fourth year of operation and need an inspirational leader to take us from "Good" to "Outstanding".

As an all-through school, which includes a Secondary element that is one of the smallest in the country, we are incredibly proud of our unique ethos at Heyford Park Free School, where every child is known and a truly personalised education can be offered.

You will be highly strategic, with plenty of flair and imagination, and will share our commitment to furthering our warm and friendly community school.

This is a rare opportunity to lead an all-through environment, within a Trust that is expanding and looking to explore MAT status. Heyford Park Free School also provides the opportunity to direct strategic improvement, but within the security of a "Good" school.

Closing date: Noon on Friday 2nd December 2016
Interviews: 12th & 13th December 2016

For more information, to book a school visit or for an informal discussion about the role, please contact Jo Grabowska on 0203 194 3085 or email info@tesprime.com

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

Heyford Park Free School is a small and inclusive all-through Free School that takes students from the age of 4 through to 19 and encourages them to flourish, recognise their strengths and identify their own aims and aspirations.

The school is located at the heart of Heyford Park in Oxfordshire – the site of a former RAF and US Air Force base – and reflects the strong community spirit we have here at Heyford Park.

It is our aim to know every one of our students well, providing an environment that not only allows them to achieve what they are truly capable of, but also equips them with excellent academic qualifications and a ‘can do’ attitude. We want out students to be able to create the right pathway for themselves while making a meaningful contribution to their communities.
