The Directors of the Manor Learning Trust seek a well-qualified and highly experienced individual to lead and inspire our secondary academy, Manor School Sports College, a successful and oversubscribed community focused school. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Headteacher or Principal looking for a new challenge or an ambitious Deputy or Vice Principal with substantial experience looking to take their first Principal role.
The Manor Learning Trust is a relatively new, innovative and growing sponsor and multi-academy trust in East Northamptonshire. Working with the CEO, the Principal will be responsible for:
- developing the vision and strategic direction of Manor School Sports College
- providing effective and collaborative leadership to build a strong and focused team
- creating a culture of high expectations and aspirations to raise standards and ensure all children reach their full potential
- further improving teaching and learning and outcomes for all students
- engaging and communicating with the wider school community to further strengthen the school’s community focus
In addition to energy, creativity and passion to lead our school, you should be able to evidence a strong record of school improvement and a proven ability to lead staff and students towards the achievement of clear and aspirational goals.

We are a six-form entry, 11-18 school with approximately 1020 students with 140 in the 6th Form.
