LVS Oxford is an independent special School for young people aged 11-19 with high functioning autism and offers a specialist and supported learning environment.
Due to the retirement of the successful Head Teacher, we wish to appoint a talented and inspiring individual to take on the role of Principal. The school has an excellent reputation with both parents and placing authorities and the successful candidate will have the vision and strategic leadership to continue this work.
The successful individual will be responsible for a positive culture of improvement for students with an autism diagnosis and therefore an understanding of the diverse need of these students is essential. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated and high performing team; be dynamic, decisive and diplomatic with proven excellent communication at all levels and will be able to build on the success and strong foundation achieved in recent years.
The post holder will hold QTS and have substantial experience in working with learners with an ASD. It is expected that you will have significant Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher experience.
