 Pix Brook Academy is an exciting new school, operating as an Extended Secondary School, opening in 2019 and moving to its permanent site in 2020. It will serve learners form Year 5 up to Year 11 and offer the successful candidate a truly exciting opportunity to both open and then grow the school – providing the chance to lead the development of the culture and ethos of the school, develop the curriculum model, recruit all the staff and engage in a meaningful way with the community it will serve. Developed in response to pupil growth and rising place demand this school will soon be part of a vibrant community and welcomed by all.

We are looking for someone who will:

· provide professional leadership and management for the school that reflects the vision, values and beliefs of the Trust

· ensure that the safeguarding arrangements within the school are compliant with national guidelines and the Trust’s policies and procedures

· promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of the academies’ work

· deliver the quality of teaching and learning for pupils, maximising their achievements within a successful learning culture

· provide effective management of the school and identify ways of embedding organisation structures and functions through the use of information technology and centralised services
