Education Scotland

“Young people benefit from positive, respectful relationships across the school. In almost all classes, young people are treated with fairness and respect, and are well motivated. They respond positively to staff’s well-judged use of praise. Many speak enthusiastically about some of their learning experiences and the support which staff provide… Young people cooperate well, listen attentively and answer questions willingly. Many teachers use questioning well to probe learners’ deeper understanding.”
