Bannerman High School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form. It is situated in the Baillieston suburb just east of Glasgow city centre. It is a comprehensive school composed of three buildings within its own grounds. The school also has a separate Autism Unit onsite. The school will provide 1,400 places for secondary and sixth form students between the ages of 12-18, when fully subscribed.

Bannerman High first opened in 1973, and all areas of the school have undergone a major refurbishment in 2001 to update the school for the new millennium.
