Dar Al Marefa School seeks a creative and tenacious educator to lead the school as Principal.
You will hold exceptionally high expectations for all students, inspiring a community of life-long learners whilst supporting the Dar Al Marefa philosophy, vision, core values and strategic aims.
Dar Al Marefa Private School is a bilingual IB World School, which currently serves almost 900 students aged between 3 – 18 years old. Our new campus designed by award-winning architects opened in September 2019 and has capacity for up to 2000 pupils. It was designed to maximise students’ potential for learning. Every element of the design contributes to an environment that is dynamic, engaging and learning-focused.
We are highly ambitious and seek a Principal who has the vision to build on strong foundations, and will develop a high quality centre of international learning which embraces local culture, heritage and religion. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to lead a new school entering the next phase of its development.
We are keen to hear from experienced and successful school leaders seeking a new challenge. Ideal candidates will:
- Be fully aligned to the philosophy, vision and core values of Dar Al Marefa School
- Be able to contribute meaningfully to our integrated strategic development across the three phases
- Possess the technical and behavioural traits to lead a highly effective school
- Be able to demonstrate impact in key areas of provision in current or previous roles
- Know what great teaching and learning looks like in the classroom and how to achieve it
- Be excited by, and committed to, supporting practices that will drive great progress
