The Governing body are seeking an outstanding leader to be our next Principal. 

Budmouth is an oversubscribed, innovative College, catering for students with a variety of backgrounds, abilities and aspirations. We are seeking an ambitious individual with vision and inspiration to overcome the changing and challenging education environment as we strive to realise the highest educational standards and achievements for all students, championing diversity and inclusivity.   

With over 1,700 students on roll (ages 11-19), we are proud of providing a rich and varied curriculum alongside motivational and wide ranging extra-curricular opportunities.  This is a fantastic prospect for someone to lead the college through its next crucial phase of continued development with the goal of improving outcomes for all of our students.

• Develop a culture that encourages the College community to exceed their expectations.

Have you a proven track record that demonstrates your ability to: 

• Develop and maintain excellent relationships between the students, staff, parents, governors and the wider community. 

• Optimise finances and resources for the maximum benefit of the College community.  

• Actively lead your colleagues, whilst striking an effective balance between support and accountability, so that student outcomes are consistently improved.

Safeguarding and welfare of children and young people with all staff partnering in this commitment is at the core of the college. The successful candidate will be required to have an Enhanced DBS check in line with the government’s safer recruitment guidelines.
