Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a leader in one of the largest multi-academy trusts in the UK. With Oasis Community Learning’s astounding success rates (in just two years our sustained improvement has seen the percentage of Ofsted inspected academies attaining ‘Good’ or better from 30% to over 70%) this is a great time to start your career with Oasis.

Join our Family of Academies and Lead our Journey to ‘Outstanding’

Oasis Academy Warndon has been on a journey of continued improvement since joining the Oasis family in October 2013. Established now as a GOOD academy (Ofsted 2015) and following this success, the current Principal has progressed to a new opportunity outside of Oasis. Therefore, we are looking to recruit a dynamic leader with drive and passion to help us achieve the next stage in our development ensuring the delivery of exceptional education at the heart of our community. Are you our next leader?

Supportive Culture

We currently have 483 students on roll, including our Nursery children, all of whom have a tailored personal learning plan incorporating the Thrive curriculum where suitable. We aim to promote an enthusiastic culture of inclusion, healthy relationships and pride in achievement.

Achieving Excellence

Teaching in the academy is typically good to outstanding and we are committed to recruiting passionate, dedicated staff to help our children achieve their academic and wider potential. You will be able to engender enthusiasm and drive throughout our staff, nurturing a culture of ambition and continuous improvement. Our focus on achieving excellent standards for the whole child is paramount and this is done in a welcoming and caring atmosphere.

Effective Partnerships

To develop you as a leader you will enjoy the support and challenge of a Regional Director along with the wider OCL National Team. By being part of a family of 47 Oasis Academies, you will work alongside expert leaders in their field and benefit from a strong support network and partnership with 7 other Oasis Community Learning primaries across the Midlands. You will have many opportunities to share best practice and drive continual improvement, including an annual Regional conference, Regional Improvement Networks and access to a growing CPD programme nationally.

Community Potential

Many of our Warndon students come from a disadvantaged background and community. The Warndon staff along with supportive and strategic Academy Council proudly seek to serve that community and aspire to create opportunities for its wider members to reach their potential alongside students. Alongside developing our Academy as an enriching school environment, you will be a forward-facing community figure. You will build relationships with local leaders, and have the opportunity to influence the lives of the extended community.
