Queen Ethelburga’s is seeking an inspirational, innovative, effective and ambitious strategic leader, who will embrace the ethos of the Collegiate and build on the excellent work done to date by the incumbent Principal Mr Steven Jandrell.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate who can effectively navigate the ever-changing national and international educational landscape, to build on the strengths of the four schools. He or she will work with the CEO to develop the strategic vision and future direction for the Collegiate, whilst empowering all members of the Collegiate to play their active part in achieving that vision.

The role of Principal becomes available upon the retirement of Mr Jandrell, following 25 years of outstanding and dedicated service.

The Board are looking to appoint a Principal who shares the school’s determination to grow a world-class Collegiate, whilst maintaining the British family values it is built upon. A sense of humour is welcome!
The post is for September 2020 and commands a competitive salary with other significant benefits including accommodation.
